Meet Christiana – a Diverse Journey
My name is Christiana, and I’ve had quite the unique and varied professional journey over the years. It all started back in 1992 when I joined the United States Air Force, where I served as a Spanish linguist until 1996. During my time in the military, I had the opportunity to study and travel extensively, putting my language skills to use in service of our country.
After my stint in the Air Force, I transitioned into the home building industry, starting work for a general contractor selling homes in new subdivisions back in 2004. This experience gave me valuable insights into the real estate market and the construction process.
Eager to take on a new challenge, I launched my own business in 2006, focusing on buying, renovating, and reselling homes in Roanoke, Virginia. As the market improved following the mortgage crisis of 2008, I expanded my operations to Vero Beach, Florida, where I’ve had a personal connection since the late 1970s. My grandmother had a vacation home here, and I’ve been coming to this beautiful coastal town for decades.
Through my real estate ventures, I ended up flipping over 100 residential properties, honing my skills in construction, design, and project management. This experience proved invaluable when, in 2016, I decided to open my own cabinet business. Drawing on my deep understanding of the home renovation and building process, I’ve been able to provide high-quality custom cabinetry and exceptional customer service to clients in the Vero Beach area.
Despite my diverse professional background, one constant in my life has been my roots in Wharton County, Texas. Though I’ve lived in various places throughout my career, I’ve always maintained a strong connection Texas and the values I learned growing up there.
As I reflect on my journey, I’m struck by the twists and turns that have led me to where I am today. From serving in the Air Force to building a successful real estate and cabinet business, my experiences have been anything but ordinary. But through it all, I’ve remained passionate, adaptable, and committed to providing top-notch service to my clients and the communities I’ve been a part of.
I‘m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, and I look forward to continuing to grow and evolve in the years to come. Who knows what the future holds? One thing’s for sure – it’s sure to be an interesting ride.
